Condiments

Many of the condiments that we produce have originated from products that we either grow or forage for. Many have come about due to research into the historical uses of various plants (including old family recipes!) but some of the flavor combinations were often experimentations that sounded logical to us but simply had yet to be tried!

All products are crafted in a kitchen that is GLUTEN FREE, EGG FREE & DAIRY FREE*.

(*On occasion a 'base product' will note that it has been packed in a factory that also packs the afore mentioned products).

PLEASE NOTE many of these products are seasonal and once sold out will be unavailable until the following year – we will endeavor to update when we can when such occurrences happen!

Subcategories

  • Sauce

A variety of savory sauces & ketchups - some of the recipes used are said to have originated back in the 17th century while others are more recently created!

  • Vinegar

These are all RTU dressings as they are, but you can dilute them with a neutral flavored oil to your taste if you so desire.

Generally all 'sweet' vinegars meaning that while they have no added salt or oil (fats) they do have some sugar added.

  • Drinks/Syrups

Switchels: Are vinegar based drinks from based in the 17th century however there are arguments that they originated long before this (think Romans!) but they weren't called by the same name. Ideal thirst quenchers - and not too sweet.

Cordials & Syrups: Where there is 'cordial' in the name it would indicate that these were originally intended for drinks but some can be used as syrups (ie toppings) BUT the syrups can be used as either drinks or as dessert toppings - let your taste-buds guide you!

  • Salt

    Herb based salts.

  • Jellies/Jams/Relishes/...

Traditionally made - with the occasional 'new' flavor added!

Many of the 'sweet' jellies and jams are also perfect to use with the savory - especially on the cheese board!
