PUMPKINS & SQUASH

A delicious vegetable with oval yellow fruit which when mature can be steamed or baked whole for 30 mintues, or until tender, making sure to puncture the skin with a fork beforehand. When cut in half after cooking the inside turns out in spaghetti-like strands and can be eaten hot with salt, pepper, butter, or with tomato sauce or other seaonings. Full sun.

The perfect mini pumpkin! Deep orange 600g - 1 kg fruits with slender, sturdy, easy to grip handles. In addition to its decorative use, the flesh is good for pies and the semi hull-less seeds are good for toasted snacks. The yield potential is high and the fruits have very good storage qualities.

 A classic heirloom small pumpkin rated as having the best flavour and sweetness since the 1800s. Very smooth textured bright orange flesh is excellent for roasting, soups and of course the dessert treat, pumpkin pie. The vigorous vines will develop up to 4-6 round orange slightly ribbed 2kg fruit.
