CUCUMBER Crystal Apple
(Cucumis sativus) Apple size cucumber with sweet taste and crisp juicy flesh that can be eaten thin skin and all. Easy to grow and heavy cropping, it will set fruit even in dry conditions. When ripe the fruit have small white spines (soft prickles) and faint green markings running from the blossom end to the stem. Annual.
ZUCCHINI Cocozelle - Heirloom
Classic striped Italian zucchini. Highly regarded summer squash, long and cylindrical, pale green with dark green stripes and firm yet tender greenish white flesh. Best harvested at a young stage just as the blossom falls away from the tip or can be grown on to marrow size and eaten stuffed with other vegetables.
