Hardy perennial herb well known for its deep roots which are harvested in winter and grated to make horseradish sauce. Leaves are also edible in salads though extremely hot, and the seeds can be sprouted and eaten. Multiple medicinal uses.The leaves can be made into a tea to spray on plants to control fungal diseases. Full sun or part shade, moister soil preferred. Ht 70cm.
