A decorative shrub-like plant can be used as a tea with soothing qualities useful for colds and flu, also used to be reputed to have a calming effect on the nerves and reduces anxiety. When used as a flavouring for soups, sauces, meat and egg dishes, either fresh or dried use sparingly because of its strong flavour.
