(Duchesnea indica) Attractive red berries that look very similar to alpine strawberries (and are loved by birds!) follow on from the bright yellow flowers throughout the summer period. Thought to have multiple medicinal uses along with being an anticoagulant & antiseptic. A creeping evergreen carpet that is tolerant of sun through to shade - excellent under deciduous trees!
