Small growing variety with the strongest flavour. Blends well with different culinary oreganos, thymes and basils and can be added to meat, poultry or fish. Makes an attractive low bush for borders and edgings, as the leaves remain green throughout the winter in mild climates. Leaves have antiseptic properties and it is said rubbing a sprig of leaves on insect bites and stings from bees and wasps is said to provide immediate pain relief. Woody perennial. Ht 40cm.
