Excellent companion plant, believed to be a natural deterrent to white fly. Attractive, fast growing annual shrub with dainty blue bell-shaped flowers followed by inedible fruits in ‘chinese lanterns’ which can de dried for floral work. A decoction of the leaves is used to treat headlice in some countries. The juice when mixed with milk is used as a deadly fly bait. Ht to 70cm.
